Recipes Paula Deen Meatloaf Recipe

What are quick-cooking oats?
I need them for a recipe but I’m not sure which ones they are. I don’t think they’re the Quaker oats. Anyway, here is the recipe: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/paula-deen/old-fashioned-meat-loaf-aka-basic-meatloaf-recipe/index.html
Quick cook outs are rolled outs (as opposed to steel cut) that have been pre-cooked then dehydrated.
They take the oat grains and literally flatten them between huge steel rollers so the oat can cook quickly. For typical rolled outs, about 10 minutes as opposed to 30 to 40 minutes for steel cut oats.
To further reduce cooking time, they are precooked.
I’m not sure if Quaker makes steel cut oats (they aren’t too poular in the States) but they make rolled and instant (quick).
